Part-way to Parents

(This is from a few nights ago, but my internet was not working that night)

This evening we attended Matt and Charity’s wedding dinner. They had a wedding video they showed, which, I’m sure made an impression on Abigail. So, tonight during family prayer sweet Abigail prayed: “and thank you that we could go to Matt and Charity’s [pause] wedding [pause as she thought of what we went to] dinner and see them get— [very l o n g pause as she tries to decide how to phrase her words, and then continuing on very slowly]—and see them get part-way to being parents.”
